Taiwan Railway Co. Ltd. installed 4 Airdolphins a line along the platform at Chishang Train Station. The 4 AirDolphin wind turbines, which provide electricity 24 hours a day, supply power mainly for the indoor lighting.
Airdolphins were installed as they visibly make electricity 24 hours a day and to make the station become even greener, sending a strong message to all train users as a very visible symbol of long term environment sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
The train station, with its timber arches has architectural significance, is in Chishang town. It is a small village full of natural and beautiful scenery with rich clear waters and beautiful flowers. Because of its beautiful scenery, many tourists visit Chishang every year arriving by train.
